My name is Cindy Stuart and I am running for Hillsborough County School Board District 3. I believe that I can make an impact on the education that our children deserve in this county.

I am a candidate who thinks the School Board should be connected to the community they serve. I am first and foremost a parent and I believe that we need active, engaged parents and teachers to produce skilled and educated students who will become productive citizens. I want children in Hillsborough County to be able to obtain a top-notch education that entices all students to reach for the top of the ladder. I know that in order to make that happen we need strong, fiscally conservative leaders who are open to new ideas and are willing to question the current agenda. We need teachers who are respected and engaged. Teaching is a profession and should be valued and appreciated. Students need the best technology and tools that we can provide in order for them to be able compete in a global economy. I support teachers, parents and students. In my mind they all are crucial in the experiences of the youth in Hillsborough County Public Schools. Welcome to the campaign, we hope that you will join us to make a difference for District 3.
